DC Dance Studio

Meet our Staff

Welcome to DC Dance Studio where passion, tradition, and family values blend seamlessly to create a warm and inviting dance community. With our 40th dance season upon us, we are proud to share our journey from a competitive powerhouse to a family-friendly haven for all ages and skill levels.

Today, Cathy Salzillo carries on the legacy of her mother, continuing to grow DC Dance Studio. She is not alone in her journey; her children, Alaina and Michael, are actively learning the art of dance, ensuring that our traditions and values remain alive for generations to come.

At DC Dance Studio, we believe in the power of dance to unite, inspire, and transform. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, young or young at heart, we invite you to join our dance family. Discover the joy of movement, make lasting memories, and become part of a legacy that spans four decades.

Come dance with us, and let’s create beautiful moments together.

A New Generation Takes the Stage

As life unfolded and Donna started a family of her own, her daughter, Cathy, naturally gravitated toward the studio. Cathy’s innate talent and hard work led her to become a dominant force in the dance competition world. However, something magical happened along the way that changed the course of our studio.

A Shift in Focus

Recognizing the importance of dance as an inclusive and enjoyable art form for everyone, Cathy and Donna decided to shift our studio’s focus. We transformed into a non-competitive dance studio, emphasizing the joy of movement and the importance of a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

A Family Affair

The collaboration between Cathy and Donna blossomed into a partnership, giving birth to DC Dance Studio. This dynamic mother-daughter duo shares a profound commitment to fostering a dance community where creativity and camaraderie flourish.
