Welcome to our 40th year at DC Dance formally known as The Donna Cacace Dance Studio. Looking forward to another great year of dance! Please feel free to call or text with any questions or concerns.
We have some reminders about our dance dress code that will enhance your dance experience. Here’s what you need to know:
• For female students, you have two attire options. You can choose to wear our official DC DANCE dancewear (which is not only comfortable but also stylish!). Alternatively, you have the option of a one-piece leotard combined with Weissman Kids/Adults footed tights, available for purchase at the front desk. Please note that sweatshirts and baggy clothing are not permitted in the classroom. Hair must be up off of the neck and secured against the head. No hanging braids or ponytails. Wearing hanging jewelry to class is prohibited.
•
For our male students, you have some flexibility. You can wear any t-shirt that you find comfortable, along with basketball shorts and sneakers. This attire will ensure you’re ready to hit the dance floor with confidence.
So, whether you’re twirling in a tutu or breaking it down in basketball shorts, let’s make sure we’re all dressed to impress. Our dance classes are all about fun, learning, and looking fantastic while doing it
So, let’s put on our dance attire and dance shoes, and get ready to show off your moves in style.
We can’t wait to see you in class!
In the event that the center closes due to inclement weather or your child misses a class, you are welcome to
join any class on our regular schedule as a makeup. No refunds will be given. The studio follows the North Branford Schools closings when it comes to snow days. Closings are announced by WTNH channel 8, MyTV9, and on
www.wtnh.com
Regular attendance at dance class is very important as the student will learn a great deal faster. If you are not coming for any reason be sure to call or text (203)887-0193 or email at cathy@dcdance.com, so that class will not be held up waiting for late arrivals. Dancers should arrive five (5) minutes before starting so they can put on their dance shoes and be ready for dance to start. They are to wait in the lobby for the class to start. Please do your best to be on time for class. It disturbs the class when you come in late and could be harmful if you miss warming up. There are no make up classes for missed classes.
